CREATIVE DIRECTOR, DESIGNER
Karolina Łoboda, born in Warsaw, Poland, is a seasoned Creative Director, Graphic Designer, and Art Director with over two decades of experience in brand development. Her design philosophy is deeply influenced by cultural narratives and human psychology, enabling her to create evocative, enduring designs. By collaborating with innovative clients, she combines storytelling with strategic insight to produce cohesive and compelling design solutions.
Her expertise has been acknowledged through judging roles in prestigious design competitions, including Applied Arts Magazine and Strategy Magazine. Her work has received international recognition, featured in publications such as Graphis New York, Communication Arts Magazine, The Dieline, Applied Arts Magazine, and Mindsparkle. Karolina has partnered with a diverse range of clients, including Lululemon, One of a Kind Show, Nudestix, Canada Goose, Julie Charbonneau Design, Balderton Capital (UK), and Minto Communities.
Growing up in a home filled with art and literature, with a father who painted daily after his welding job, Karolina's passion for design was nurtured from an early age. She began her formal education at the University of Toronto, studying Art and Art History, before transferring to Sheridan College's three-year Graphic Design program, from which she graduated in 2001 at the top of her class.
Karolina's unique approach blends storytelling with thoughtful design, focusing on building emotional connections that foster lasting brand loyalty and generate engagement.
Karolina worked on the One of Kind brand from 2009 to 2018 and presented creative solutions to our shifting needs. It’s been great to work with her on over 18 campaigns. She also shares our passion to help small businesses grow and flourish. Over the years, her dedication and commitment to good design have enabled One of a Kind to stand out in the marketplace.
